How I started all this:
I started programming in middle school, when I picked up the — I don't remember what it was called — the coding course on Khan Academy.
Anyway, I finished that course, made a bunch of janky programs along the way, and then got frustrated with my inability to do useful things with my code, and being stuck in Khan Academy's website.

It wasn't until a couple years later that I figured out how to make websites and make them interactive with JavaScript (I found a free JavaScript course by accident). That's when I really started getting into coding.

I think I started that coding course because I thought it would be a useful thing to learn. But I ended up really enjoying it, even if I wasn't very good at it at first.
Also because I like learning new things, and coding was a whole world of new things to learn.
